going in circles

The centre medallion of Jane is finally completed... crazy how long it has taken to complete the corners...
My little "orange segments" block...
Still searching for the "perfect" centre, but that will come when it comes....

Meanwhile I've been having fun making zeez....
Six of 20 9" blocks which will surround the centre medallion... these will be trimmed down to 9" (the backing linen tends to fray so they were cut quite large.)

Notice I have started on the easy ones...the rest start to get really complex!
No 7 partway made, still needing his narrow frame and then will be appliquéd to the background...
 A small departure from circles...
Still my favourite!

Very very lovely. I am envious and can't wait until the Cheltenham museum is open again so we can all see the real thing once again.

Love your progress and the way you leave it until just the right fabric speaks up for the center.
