vote for me....

Do you read The Quilting Gallery?

Apart from having a comprehensive quilting bloggers directory, they also have a  quilt shop locator, a directory of quilt guilds, a quilter's market, and a whole lot more....

Every week they hold themed competitions and this week's theme is 'paper pieced'....so just for fun Mad Birds and Hexagons has been entered.
If you like, you can vote for my quilt by going  to the voting link (open Friday until Sunday) here....

For those interested, I've added a link to a Picasa web album with more photos in my sidebar.

There has been a little Secret Sewing going on here - I can't show anything because....well.....it's a secret ... all  I can say is my contribution to Chookyblue's Secret Santa Christmas Swap is coming along swimmingly.

Tomorrow is another Saturday stitching day - we really must come up with a good name - this month we will meet at Jean's from Linen and Raspberry. Looking forward to some quality sewing with great quilting mates.

Hope you can find time for quilting this weekend.

  7. How fun. I have just drooled over the BOM project at the Material Obsession webshop, but paused a bit because of the price. Do you know if there is a way to get hold of the pattern with out fabric? Fx. I like your choice of background fabrics a lot more than the hard black/white dots show in the webshop.
By the way, I voted for you and your quilt!
